Wild Ideas
Its easy to stir up desire to do something - anything - to express our outrage about the ways in which children are hurt by the people they depend on and trust. There are hundreds of stories that survivors can tell. I like to tell stories. But the story I most want to tell is about things that haven't happened yet. I want to tell the story of how you and I and many others acted together to create a new kind of family, a new kind of community, a new kind of nation that creates complete safety for all children in their homes.
Lots of people feel this story stirring in their deepest heart of hearts. We can feel the beginnings of a beautiful age - that is coming to this world - an age of wonder and of healing. Promised in many ancient teachings, many wait with hope and faith. We are told to expect a final war - a war to end all wars - and with this the New Beginning is ushered in.
Think about it. The only war that could really end all wars would have to happen inside the heart and mind of every single human being. Its entirely possible that the early Christian Church was a community formed on principles that help each person win that inner battle to defeat all traces of inhumanity within. It is entirely possible that the early Church was a set of helps designed to eliminate all family violence, and especially child abuse and neglect.
I want to make a movie about the Second Coming - but maybe not how we were told - a creative visualization project - to inspire many to collaborate to create the solution. The synopsis of the calling is expressed at www.motherworld.net. How the plan to dematerialize maltreatment fits into the larger project of recovery from the death-addicted culture that is modern industrial growth. We have more to do.
